Research interests

My main research interest is paleogenomics. I am interested in studying ancient DNA as a tool to understand the different evolutionnary paths and the history of our current biodiversity. Overall, I am interested in the relation between genetics, evolution and the ancient fauna.

Current work

I am currently undergoing an internship on the study of andalusian horses’ ancient DNA under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Ann Leonard at the Estación Biológica de Doñana, as part of my Master’s project.

Previous work

Before coming to the Estación Biológica de Doñana, I was finishing my third Master’s semester in Rennes (France). My Master major is in Paleontology and paleo-environments and is focused on understanding the relations of organsims-environments and the study of paleo fauna and/or flora as clue in reconstruction of paleo-environments.
