Research interests

I am interested in ecology, ecosystem conservation, genetics, biogeography, ornithology and wildlife parasites.

Current work

I am PhD student under the supervision of Ines Sanchez-Donoso and Carles Vilà. My research focuses on chromosomal inversions as a mechanism for sympatric differentiation in quails.

Previous work

Assistant researcher at Lund University supervised by Dr. Caroline Isaksson.

MSc in Biology with minor specialization in Ecology at University of Copenhagen (Denmark). My MSc disertation was "The drivers of avian haemosporidian prevalence in tropical lowland forest of New Guinea in three dimensions" and its under review in Ecology and Evolution. Research conducted at Social and Symbiotic Evolution Group and Zoological Museum.

Bachelor in Biology at University of Extremadura. My BSc disertation studied prevalence and genetic diversity of haemosporidian parasites in disjunct distributed species (Azure-winged Magpie).
